We love making the swalks as much us our customer love wearing them, we designed it with our heart and fit it with a sole. Please read what our Craftsmen poured out of their heart from their experience.
Sadhana is one of the skillful hands through which the materials pass through before they can be delivered to the customer.
She says, “After all the careful work we do to make a pair of Swalks, it makes me very happy to pack it for a customer who is eagerly waiting for it. I will definitely feel the vibe when the customer wearing Swalks heaves a sigh of relief from tiredness and pain, and that makes my day!
We work with machines for about 20 percent of the work and the rest of it is hand-made. We take utmost care at every stage to bring out a perfect pair of Swalks, which reflects our love and affection for the product.”
She adds, “At work, we are all so proud of our Swalks, and at home I keep talking about it often with my family and sharing my experiences of the making of this novel and useful product.”
Sadhana
Dhanasekar is the technician behind the Swalks project. After almost 30 years of experience in making leather shoes for various Brands, Dhansekar is so excited about this innovative footwear.
He says, “The sheer novelty of this product amazes me. When we started developing this for a particular customer’s special need, we never thought this would take such a wide application. After 6 months of rigorous trials and testing, we have finally arrived at a product that is very useful for so many people. We are glad that we are now able to make it widely available to a larger population.”
He says that the next task for him is to train as many people in his team as possible, to understand the nuances of this product, which looks so simple but contains so much detail that needs to be taken care of during the making.
