1. What is your return/exchange policies?
As the product is in intimate contact with the skin, we cannot exchange the product. However, if you wish to exchange your product before any kind of wear due to any manufacturing defect, we will exchange the product. The product needs to be sent in its original packaging with all the labels intact.
2. What are Swalks?
Swalks is a health care footwear. It looks like a sock. It can be worn indoor and outdoor without wearing any other footwear on top of it. It has a sole underneath and a very comforting insole inside. It can be washed by hand or in a washing machine.
3. Why should I wear Swalks?
All humans need to walk regularly to keep themselves fit. While walking is very good for health, we need proper footwear to avoid injuries and pain during and after walking. Swalks is that kind of footwear that gives optimal underfoot comfort, breathes to reduce sweating and transmit any sweat through the surface. It is easy to wear and is so light in weight, one gets the comfort of bare foot walking while getting the protection from rough or cold floor surfaces. The rubber sole with its special tread design gives good grip to avoid fall even in wet surfaces. That’s why one needs to wear Swalks.
4. What size should I order?
To choose your right size, please follow the size chart provided.
5. How should my Swalks fit? How do I know if it is too small or big?
Swalks should fit your feet snug. It should neither be slack nor too tight. The bottom profile of the foot should match the Swalks. Swalks should not be protruding beyond your foot nor be short.
6. Are my Swalks washable?
Yes. Swalks is washable. You can wash it by hand using water and soap in a tub or use the washing machine. Do not use water hot water for washing. Cold water is the best.
7. Can a woman order a men’s size or vice versa?
Yes. If your foot is a plus size or a small size compared to the regular size range in your gender, you can go for the sizes in the opposite gender. However, the Swalks in male gender size range is normally slightly wider compared to the same size number in the female gender range.
8. Is it safe to walk on roads with the Swalks?
Swalks is very comfortable to walk outdoor. One can wear it while walking on tarmac or cement roads. It is okay to wear it even in wet roads, as long as the water is not stagnant or more than 3 mm high.
9. Is it safe to wear Swalks on wet floors?
It is safe to walk on wet floors with Swalks. The rubber sole grips well to the wet floor. However, you have to be cautious while on a wet floor as there are other factors you have to be aware of that could result in slipping off.
10. When will my order get delivered?
Orders delivered within metropolitan city limits in India the orders will be delivered within 7 to 10 days from date of order. Orders delivered to other cities shall be delivered within 12 to 20 days.
11. How can I track my order?
Order updates will be informed via SMS / WhatsApp / email as per your choice. One can also track the delivery status by tracking the courier number online.
12. Can I wear Swalks if I have flat foot?
Yes. Swalks can be worn if you have flat foot. The special foot bed material that is used provides a natural arch support based on your weight. If you need special arch support in the Swalks, you may contact us directly to provide you a customised Swalks.
13. Do I need to wear socks with Swalks?
No. You do not wear a separate sock with this footwear.
14. I am gifting these Swalks. Can you make the package special?
Yes. Please mention it while check out. It may involve a small additional cost.
15. Can I customise Swalks?
Yes. You can. Please contact us directly if you want to customise it.
16. Do you ship internationally?
No. At the moment Swalks is delivered only within India.
17. What is your Warranty policy?
All our Swalks are made with extreme care for quality. In an extraordinary case if the rubber sole bonding to the socks fails within 6 months from the date of purchase due to manufacturing reasons, the product will be replaced. Please remember to quote the invoice number and registered mobile number while raising your replacement request.
18. How should I care for my Swalks?
Swalks is largely composed of stretchable cotton or bamboo fabric. While wearing the socks, please follow the instruction so that there is minimal stress on the fabric and the feet. Avoid kicking stones while walking as it can be harmful for the feet as well as the Swalks. Wash the Swalks once after every 3 or 4 days of wear. Use soap and cold water to prevent damage to the fabric. Swalks can also be washed in a washing machine using cold water.
19. What makes SWALKS different from other footwear collections?
SWALKS is a barefoot wear that is flexible, light weight, well cushioned, high grip, washable, breathable footwear that can be used either indoor or outdoor. Very few footwears do match the versatility, functionality and comfort of SWALKS.
20. Is SWALKS meant for indoor or outdoor activities?
Yes! SWALKS can be worn indoor or outdoor. It is advised to keep separate pairs for indoor and outdoor purposes.
21. How is Swalks diabetic-friendly?
SWALKS is diabetic-friendly in many ways. All diabetics are required to walks for several hours every week for more than 6 to 10 thousand steps every day. Walking helps reduce blood sugar. But in that process a wrong footwear can damage the feet. SWALKS supports the underfoot like a bed. It avoids concentration of pressure, prevents blisters, provides high grip, even balance, avoids slipping and fall, removes sweat easily, prevents bad odour and many more. As there are no seams inside the footwear, it prevents blisters to the already soft and tender skin of the diabetic’s feet
22. WHow durable is SWALKS?
Much depends on how it is maintained. The upper part has to be handled carefully without stretching too much while wearing it on. It has to be protected from sharp objects. The SWALKS can be washed by hand or in a washing machine regularly. If the SWALKS is not subjected to mechanical damage, it is expected to endure at least for 30 washes. If we alternate between 2 or 3 pairs it will live for more than one year.
23. After how many uses do i need to wash the swalks?
SWALKS can be washed after every 5 to 10 days of use depending on how soiled it becomes.
24. Can i wash it with the help of washing machine?
Yes! SWALKS can be washed in a washing machine.
25. What are the precautions to be taken while washing SWALKS?
- DO NOT use hot water more than 40 deg. C to wash it.
- DO NOT wash it together with other cloths
- If the sole is soiled with mud or dirt, soak it for an hour in cold soap water, gently brush the sole and then wash it by hand or in a machine.
26. Are SWALKS suitable for all-day wear?
Yes! SWALKS is suitable for all day wear. The compression SWALKS variation however is recommended to use for less than 3 hours at a time.
27. If i had to pick between bamboo or cotton fabric, what would suit me better?
Cotton SWALKS is soft, breathable and comfortable. The Bamboo version however is better than the cotton version by at least 25% in all aspects. The Bamboo version is much more durable though. The price of cotton is less than the Bamboo version. You can choose between the two based on your usage. Cotton can work well for indoor use. Bamboo will work well both indoor and outdoor.
28. Can i wear it on a rainy day?
No! Avoid wearing SWALKS outdoor on rainy day. SWALKS can be a very good option for a wet floor. But if the upper part becomes soaked or wet, it can be uncomfortable.
